# 3D Object

**3D object** is the most popular object within SQUARS. The 3D object is the right one to integrate the virtual world with the real world since it can be simulated from every angle, perfectly.

Before creating a new event, make sure that the object contains animation.

If the selected object does not contain any animation, the **Play Animation** option is not displayed in the **Events** field. To learn more about the event, [click here](/squars/studio/event-and-interaction.md#play-animation).

## Supported format

SQUARS supports the following formats:

* OBJ (Zip file)
* FBX (Zip file)
* glTF (Zip file)
* GLB

{% hint style="info" %}
You can check the components of the 3D object when it doesn't have animation. On the other hand, the 3D object with animation can only be imported as a single object since its structure is too complex with multiple components.
