For the most dynamic AR authoring experience, SQUARS offers a simple process to add interaction to your objects, with our Events feature.
Here is the event list we offer:
Open URL
Any objects type
Open a website via URL
Move Scene
Any objects type
Move to another scene
Play Animation
3D objects with animation
Play a 3D object animation
Play Audio
Audio objects
Play an audio object
Play Video
Video objects
Play a video object
When you create an event, you must also set a trigger to run the event. Trigger types depend on the event.
Here is the list of the trigger types and the events they can be applied to:
Start
Play Animation, Play Audio, Play Video
Tap
All events
Open URL opens the website in a new browser when the trigger is activated.
Select the object to add a new event.
Go to the Events field on the right panel and click the Add (+
) icon.
Select Open URL.
Select trigger type (Tap, etc.) and enter the URL you want to open when the trigger is activated.
In order to initiate a scene transition, it is necessary to have at least two remaining scenes between which to switch. If only one scene remains, a transition event may not be triggered, even with attempts to do so.
Select the object to add a new event.
Go to the Events field on the right panel and click the Add (+
) icon.
Select Move Scene.
Select trigger type (Tap, etc.) and To (Scene) you want to go when the trigger is activated.
Here are descriptions of events' properties:
Trigger - The way in which the event is activated or initiated.
From - A current scene that has been set up. This cannot be changed to another scene based on the user's needs.
To - A scene to be transitioned when the trigger event occurs.
Before creating a new event, make sure that the object has animation.
If the selected object does not contain any animations, the Play Animation option is not displayed in the Events field.
Select the object to add a new event.
Go to the Events field on the right panel and click the Add (+
) icon.
Select Play Animation.
Select trigger type (Start, Tap, etc.) for playback.
Here is a description of the events' properties:
Trigger - The way the event gets triggered.
Clip - An animation in which the event is run.
Play - Playback options for animation.
Once - When you want the animation to play only once.
Loop - When you want the animation to repeat, nonstop.
Pingpong - When you want the animation to repeat back and forth for reverse playback.
Multimedia objects contain events by default. The event is played immediately when you set the options for the preview or publish.
Select the object to add a new event.
Go to the Events field on the right panel and click the Add (+
) icon.
Select Play Audio.
Select the trigger type (Start, Tap, etc.) for playback.
Here is a description of the events' properties:

Play - Playback options for audio.
Once - When you want the audio to play only once.
Loop - When you want the audio to repeat, nonstop.
Multimedia objects contain events by default. The event is played immediately when you set the options for the preview or publish.

Select Play Video.
Select the trigger type (Start, Tap, etc.) for playback.

You can now enter Preview Mode and enjoy a dynamic experience depending on the event you set up.
